Are you Supporting Woolies??...

WoolWorths so Fresh...

WOOLIES SO INCONVENIENT

WoolWorths Campaign
#BoycottWoolworthsCampaingn  was one of the most popular hashtags on social media platforms it ignited so much speculation to those who didn’t have a cooking clue about what was happening at the WoolWorths stores. And unsettlement lay about whether loyal customers were going to fill up the queens the following days to come. The Campaign was embarked by the BDS ( BoycottDivestment and Sanctions)  and NCAP(NationalCoalition for Palestines) demanding that  WoolWorths stop their trade  with Israel considering the conflict  between the Palestine and  Israel.

The most peaceful Protest EVER outside WOOLIES

A Peaceful Protest Outside Woollis
What caught my attention most about the campaign was the unity of people fighting for the lives, rights of another people in another country. The rapid amount of eggs on twitter also voiced their opinion regarding the matter. We like it or not black, white race is a serious stigma killing nations and producing broken societies that can only be repaired if self-acceptance is on everybody’s lips…I think the campaign also brought up many issues that have been slipped under the carpet for too long the fact the Woolies trades with Israel gives me  the impression that they support oppression and segregation with that being said they are going against their values as an organisation and that gives me the conclusion that they are contradicting  themselves, and it makes no sense why…

And furthermore they say that trading won’t end because Government legislation allows them to perpetuate  with Israel but  why does Government allows them if Government self knows and understand the pain and suffering of segregation because this is similar to that of the apartheid regime were SA weren't  allowed to trade with another country because of the state of the country at that time.

THE HASHTAG THAT SPARKETED ATTENTION

Prominent people also raised their opinions by joining in the conversation with the hashtags #BoycottWoolWorthsCapaign and soon this sparked the attention for the young,  old  and the world.E.g. Former Generations Actor/ Presenter on SABC 2 Game Show Thato Maluma also supports the campaign.

Musicians like Simphiwe Dana, Football Freestyle Ashley Mhize, Shaka Sisulu as well as anti-apartheid icon Ahmend kathrada supports the campaign as well.

WoolWorths Store

As a Public Relations thought leader I think that WoolWorths is a good supermarket considering the fresh food sold and how long they last. Woolies also gets a lot of attention from potential investors and they have one of the Best Ads EVER!!! compared to others… And they are an open system because if you look at their external communication stage they use most socialplatforms to not only get their message across but engage with theirstakeholders which is Awesome!!!

There is no Douement to Nkandla

Our eyes are closed our minds are stationary yet ears are open.

Their Plans is our Future...
Mr President and Mr Nkandla

Zuma doing what he knows best dancing
But why though? Our very own leaders of South Africa the people we think we know to be our very  own, are no stranger to the public and the world. They are respected by many who understand  their vexing dance moves and cappella songs those who are still bewildered like myself  about whether these moves represent themselves or anything else… I always wonder whether these “Leaders’’ spare a moment to think about the people or are they occasionally  thinking about ‘’their people”’(Families) I don’t mean to sound offline but the way I see things with concern and disappointment, personally think these people don’t ever think about our basic needs. E.g. Mr President unduly benefited from the upgrades of his home in Nkandla where do I fit in and how do I benefit from this?

HELLO SA LEADERS THE WORLD IS WATCHING
EFF chucked out of Parliment

Every one young and old even toddlers have seen and heard how the Nkandla report that tore the place we could all call our second sacred place :Parliament. After I witnessed the SONA 2015 South African Nation Address with traumatic flashes I think Parliament needs a cleansing  ritual and the highest age restriction. (PG).
I felt  like my forefathers wasted their energy and oxygen in fighting for freedom  that was suppose to not only lead and guide but also teach generations about the struggles of the legacy  and the people that brought it momentum and adrenaline.

Political Parties in SA

Most of these so called leaders from the oppositions and the very own Mighty Power ANC are in conflict with each other moaning and mumbling about who is suited to be in certain positions yet they say we are their first priority I think we are fooled…”’ President Jacob Zuma is a thief and he must pay back the money” yet the very same people who iterate these words were once upon a time members and colleagues of this person and his Party that is poked with names. This very same party  groomed them to be the politicians they are today.
The ironic part about this big hoohar  made about “Bring back the money’’ is said aloud by the people who were once upon a time part of the family tree one particular example is Julius Malema he as far as I can remember was an ANC member and the President of the ANC youth League until he also had to pay back the money and is still faced with all sorts of charges and wassuspended in April 2012 and had to slow down from the fast lane he was on, yet today he and many others stand in solidarity fighting for the rights of the poor of South Africa. I am confused who are the true leaders... As a Public Relations thought leader I think that hope is not lost with in the Parties of the leaders but the leadership styles need to be  refreshed.
